The complete season has been released as 7 individual DVDs. Each one is available either as a single disc, or as a special edition with a DTS disc and a pack-in extra (soundtrack CDs, t-shirts, and a tin box with volume 7 to whole all 7 discs).
Manga just announced that a box set of the first season will be released sometime after the last volume of 2nd Gig comes out (which is September this year), if you'd rather wait for that.

Yeah, and you can get all of the standard releases for $10 over at DDD. I finally just finished off my season 1 at the beginning of the week once I caught wind of the recent price drop. They were sitting in my want list forever.

amazon.com have had an exclusive on the tin with all the standard editions contained within since that was issued something like 18 months back. i would either go for the boxset as listed in other countries (the UK one comes in about hald the tin of the R1) or for the USA set...

didnt want to invest $$ in the standard or special editions and then have the complete season come out for cheap.
that happened to me with the roughnecks series
