Good night, and good luck - disc is toast

I bought this at release and just got around to watching last night. This disc is totally screwed up. Not a mark on it but freezes and skips in several places. Totally unwatchable. Was there a bad run of these discs? Tried doing a search but turned up no info.

I'm assuming that you tried it on more than one player...

My copy plays fine but I'll double check it this evening. Haven't heard anything about a bad pressing...

Anyone?

I've played it many times at my school,
and so far no problems. I tried it on 3 different players.

Mine froze approx 13mins from the end (last chapter I think). When we see the back of Murrow's kneck when he's going for the meeting.

Great film.

Easy, try boiling the DVD to see if that helps. I've never had a new-outta-the-box-DVD crap out like you are saying but it's worth a try.

Yes, I tried it on two different players and was even desperate enough to boil it ... but that did nothing. I guess I wasn't the only one with issues.

Might be a defective disk, take it back to the store (or any store even if you don't have the receipt) and get a replacement. Stores will exchange it...Happens once in a while but not as often as videos use to!

Mine froze around the same time. Tried on three different players and still froze at the same time. Finally got it replaced.
