I never picked up the older version, but I think I'll finally add this film to my collection with this new edition. Nice art work too.

I added my thoughts at DVDTIMES....but so far it looks very classy, of course, the bigest news being the 1.66:1 anamorphic treatment. But, I am a cover-guy as well so =

I just recently bought this movie's original release, but I don't think I opened it. So, I'll probably take it back. I really like the film and the cover art is great, so I'll definitely be picking this 2-disc CE up.

I didn't get the current SE. Perhaps I need to pick the 2-disc up.

Count me in as well. Love the cover art and I can give the prior release to a family member who would appreciate it.

I bought the original release, then got another copy in the Billy Wilder Collection, but I can't pass up what should be another great Warner 2-disc SE.

If you click on the link in the first post you will see its "SONY PICTURES" that is releasing this.

Thanks for the correction. In fact I was actually thinking of MGM/UA since I recently received the very nice upgrades of The Magnificent Seven and A Bridge Too Far. But you are right, this is a Sony MGM release, and I haven't been all that impressed by Sony in the past. It is worth getting regardless, but hopefully it will not be disappointing.
