M Polo 05-01-06 07:16 PM

Hehehe, unnecessary release? Probably! Are there MUCH better movies that need release and/or a deluxe type release? Definitely! Will I buy this personal guilty pleasure? YOU KNOW IT!

LOL, man this release came out of nowhere but I'm in for this bad boy.

Snowmaker 05-01-06 09:34 PM

Guess I should put my current one on ebay.

DGibFen 05-01-06 09:48 PM

Please tell me the commentary track is by Mike Nelson and the bots. Please Please Please Please.

At least tell me they had the decency to include the Roadhouse Christmas Song.

Rypro 525 05-01-06 10:02 PM

2 commentary tracks according to Mao, one by the director and producer, and the other by Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier (watch the intro for the Clerks extended version for reasons)

I forgot about that. I'll have to go back and watch. I don't remember why they did one.

Freaking

dvduser6 05-02-06 11:22 AM

Too bad they couldn't call it the "Wanna F&@k?" Edition?

BuddyRevell 05-02-06 01:00 PM

This is awesome. And anyone who says different deserves to get their trachea ripped out.

Or the "Be NICE" Edition

BuddyRevell 05-02-06 01:16 PM

Or...........the "I used to F#@K guys like you in prison" edition.

M Polo 05-02-06 01:26 PM

The "I Thought You'd Be Bigger" Edition

Man back in the day I always thought Kelly Lynch was damn hot in this movie!

GeorgeP 05-02-06 01:41 PM

Or the "Regular Saturday Night Thing" Edition

dx23 05-02-06 01:55 PM

or the "TNT New Classic Edition". They should probably include the TBS "edited for content and time" edition.

JOE29 05-02-06 03:44 PM

I always wanted to get this movie but never did, so now i'll wait a bit longer for this on the 11th. This movie introduced me to the Jeff Healy Band, I ended up getting a couple of his cd's after this movie.

Just commentaries?

The original release already has a great transfer.

At any rate the new version will probably be cheap, and I definitely want to hear a Smith & Mosier commentary!

Besides, DavisDVD lists other features anyway.

d2cheer 05-03-06 11:41 AM

I'll get it for the DD 5.1 the original only had 2.0 (I think), and I thought that sounded really good.

Deadpool 05-03-06 02:07 PM
