I would agree with you that the tagline on the DVD cover is cheesy but I just got off the phone with the powers-that-be and I was informed that it actually is last call... for action! so at least it's accurate.

Well I have the new disc in hand. On a brief browsing on PowerDVD, the transfer looks marginally better, but nothing major at all. It almost seemed like colors were a bit less saturated as well.

I didn't check the disc size, but I assume it is dual layer. All the files are dated 5/2006.

I don't get it. :hscratch:

One review stated that it was only in 2.0 Stereo, I thought it was supposed to have a 5.1 mix?

Doesn't look like it. I've only got my PC at work here to verify it, but the back of the case only says English (Dolby Surround) and there is only one English language choice in the menu.

The previous one wasn't 5.1 either, so no biggie. I mainly wanted the Smith/Mosier commentary.

2.0 is the original mix anyway and sounds good,so no 5.1 is no loss. :)

The K. Smith Commentary is worth the price of admission alone. Good stuff and hey what can I say I enjoy the movie.

Anbody know if there's a website with all the Dalton facts Kevin mith was reading during the commentary? Those f'ing hilarious.

There are similar lists using Chuck Norris, just replace the name.

And the Chuck Norris facts are a blatant ripoff of the "Bill Brasky" sketches from SNL.

At least the Brasky sketches were funny. I haven't listened to the "Road House" commentary by Kevin and Mos (it was the reason I bought the disc though) and I have to assume that their "Dalton facts" are infinitely funnier than the awful Norris facts, too.
