"See No Evil" free preview DVD at BBuy
 

Well, I guess the title sort of says it all; currently at Best Buy, they're giving away (wellll, it does cost $.01) a DVD featuring a preview of the new Lion's Gate horror film "See No Evil" starring (WWE wrestler) Kane. "See No Evil" comes to theaters May 19th.

Does it come in a keepcase? I remember when they gave away the Stealth preview DVDs and it came in a keepcase (actually grabbed quite a few of them to replace existing cases).

It's in an envelope. I saw them on a cart with a bunch of new 2-packs they were gonna put out.

The disc contains the trailer for the film, along with 3 scenes from the film that run a total of about 2 minutes. The biggest bonus on the disc is most of the match between Kane and Edge from Vengeance 2005. That goes for 17 minutes.

Also, along with the disc is a coupon for $5 off Wrestlemania 22 when it comes out on May 16th.

Sounds like it's worth a trip down to BB.

The DVD is jampacked with a lot of extras! It even includes a WWE match between Kane and Edge! And.. its also a ticket to a Wrestlemania 22 DVD $5 off!

I might have to pick one up just for the $5 on WM22.

I still think this movie will be the one of the biggest piles of crap in the last five years, and that's saying something in terms of movies.

Not trying to offend you, but did you really need 20 copies of this? I'm just saying, unless BB has a ton of overstock waiting in the backroom, there might be some people who will miss out on the bonus disc now.

Dude, I bought 20+dvds and Bestbuy handed me 20 of this (as if I asked for it?) . If its for free and it was handed to you. Then its cool!

As I said, I intend to give them to my friends.

Bottomline: I dont sell at ebay..

I wonder which is cheaper. WM22 at DDD or WM22 at BB with $5 off?

Also, can you go to BB and just pick this up?

I think the last couple WMs were on sale at BB and CC for $19.99, so if that patterns holds, with the coupon it could potentially be $14.99. Not a bad deal at all, I think I'll wait.

WM21 at CC last yr cost $16.99. The $5off coupon is not exclusive to BB thus it can be used with other B&M store

Hey, you know what? If you just take them up to the register, they ring up at $.01 each. Anyone could get 20 for less than a quarter, even with the sales tax, LOL.

As for eBay, I took it because it was (almost) free, not because I have any real interest. I do love horror films, but I strongly suspect this won't be very good. So that's where mine will end up, I guess. I'm not a fan of wrestling at all (well, maybe some of the ladies). I am only slightly less disinterested in movies which feature wrestlers (though I have enjoyed some of them, like Blade 3).

Crap. I bought some DVDs on Wednesday and didn't notice the preview disc.

I couldn't find it but found a free sampler CD.

The only thing really worthwhile about the disc is the match of Kane vs Edge (With Leeta).

I'm pretty pissed off that someone stole my picture and used it as the main photo to sell See No Evil at ebay.

Does anyone know if you can use the $5 off coupon for WM22 set at ANY store or is it just Best Buy? I have one but don't know if it is a Best Buy exclusive...Next week: price match Wrestlemania with CC ad ($14.99) plus this coupon for a 3 dvd set for $9.99! YES!!

I picked one up a few weeks ago but still havent watched it.

I just don’t understand why someone would walk into a Best Buy and pick up 20 preview copies of a bad movie. It had to look weird seeing a person busting out the store doors hoarding all those copies….

There is a difference between picking it up and being handed with 20 copies by a BestBuy Associate.

And if it was being hoarded I should have made $$$ profit out of it.

Wish it had a free ticket... it wasnt a BAD movie but was far from great.

The point is, you don't always have to take what's given to you. As for hoarding, there's nothing tying the definition of the word with financial gain. It's just hard to believe you've got 20 friends that may be interested in a medicore horror movie staring a wrestler.

You got a dimwitted employee and became an opportunist. Not that I care, but that's what happened.

It only takes one disc to watch the preview!! Hoarding is obviously accumulating or gathers things (free or not), which is what you’ve obviously done with a bunch of See No Evil Preview DVDs!! Enjoy!

Why wouldn't you? Perhaps taking into consideration anyone else in that store that may have wanted a free disc, that actually bought something, and qualified for the freebie, not your friends? As far as being jealous? Not at all. You took advantage of someone, ruining the chances for atleast 20 other people obtaining the disc, just "because". No other reason than it being free. If you've got a headache and someone offers you 20 asprin, you don't take them all. You leave some for others. It's being considerate of others.

At the Best Buys near me, the bonus discs are available on the tables with the movies. Obviously there's an understanding of trust and logic that suggest that you only need one per person.

What's done is done, though. Next time you should be a little more considerate. If not denying more freebies than you need, use common courtesy to make up for someone else's obvious lack of reason, and take ONE or TWO to be fair. You denied others of something, and now this character on eBay is just karma's way of saying "Hi!".
