Ah, I was hoping it would be an anamorphic transfer of the ADV Vampire series, which really is quite good.

Oh well...

Yes, it's frankly *that* bad. So bad, it's not even funny/drinking game bad. Putrid would be a fairly apt description. One would literally derive more pleasure watching Milla read the phonebook to you.

Ok, the movie was not good.... but the action was still cool. Just the presentation of the movie bothered me. If you need to watch this, just expect fun action scenes and nothing more....oh and millas' ass.

There's like a 2-3 second shot in essentially utter darkness of Multi-ass. Not exactly a scene so compelling as to drive sales/rentals.

Apparently movies that the majority of DVD Talkers deem bad make rules regarding threadcrapping obsolete.

Seriously. There has to be somebody that likes this movie and came here to get info on its DVD release.

Somebody? Anybody?

Okay, whatever. Crap on.

Normally I would really not care for the threadcrapping, but this sure seems worthy of it form all the responses here and the box office draw (or lack thereof).

"Apparently movies that the majority of DVD Talkers deem bad make rules regarding threadcrapping obsolete."

Apparently people's opinions are no longer politically correct. I mean really people, I saw one maybe two craps. All the rest seemed like people's opinions to me. Apparently this movie sucked and I would like to know that. It's one of the many advantages of forums. You get REAL information about movies rather than candy coated reviews that don't tell you dick.

But if you want people's opinions of the movie, wouldn't it make more sense to go to the Movie Forum?

I'm sure we hurt someone's feelings here. They won't even post a reply.

Me too.

Great series though. Wished it had had a second season though.

I may be in the minority, but I thought this movie was really enjoyable (mainly for the style and action sequences), although heavily flawed.

I saw this movie in the theatres and it's not all that bad as long as you don't expect it to be something it's not.

The point of the movie is to have a hot-looking chick kick lots of butt in a cool futuristic world. If that's what you want, that's what it gives you.

If you are expecting a good plot, good background story, good characters or anything like that, then you should look elsewhere.

Taking the first perspective of those two, I'd say it's nowhere near as bad of a movie as most people make it out to be.

What a train wreck. Too bad Kurt Wimmer probably won't be found anywhere on this disc since Sony apparently kicked him out before the film was finished.
