yeah the editing for the scene was rather jarring and inconsistent, but seeing the scene on the huge IMAX screen at Regal's King of Prussia location was a blast and a half.

My friend works at a local video store, so he's able to rent DVDs the Thursday before they're released. We rented this last night and watched it. It was my second time seeing it and his third time. We both enjoyed it, but found a couple of faults with it. The DVD presentation is great, though.

Care to explain the faults on this dvd?

I was actually referring to the film, but the only fault I noticed is something that's pretty much unavoidable with the, "Choose Their Fate" (or whatever it's called,) game. Whenever one of the death scenes comes up, there's a slight pause/layer change, even if you're not playing the game. It doesn't really detract from the experience, though.

Looks like Circuit City may be getting my money for this one. Two dollars less than at Best Buy (which is offering a movie ticket to Snakes on a Plane) and includes a comic.

Going to price match CC at BB, use my RZ coupon, and get it for $8.99, plus the free ticket. Probably going to do the same for Chappelle's Show: Lost Episodes.

Interesting...but I doubt I'll take the time to go through all the scenes again with the Choose Their Fate.

Are there any more discs with something like the choose-their-feature? It sounds interesting and I look forward to seeing how it will work.

Yeah, true...I still think I might go with the cover though. I've put $3 towards worse things.

I'm gonna get both editions and sell the extra on Ebay.

The comic and lenticular cover.

But it takes away from the film I think. I mean, is the film a film, or is it made to be a 'choose your' attraction? It wouldn't bother me so much, I don't have to watch the new kills all the time, but that pause before every death scene would be obnoxious I would think.
