Saw Uncut with normal DVD packaging?

I just got Saw Uncut from CH, and it came in a normal case with a normal cover. Are they all like this now? Were the floating blood ones just for the first batches? I tried searching for info in the forum, but it's hard to do when saw is only 3 letters.

Hmm, I ordered Saw Uncut as a raincheck from CH about a month or two ago and got the blood cover. Maybe their second batch of this version just came out in normal cases.

Are you sure it's the uncut version? CH has been known to send out the wrong version on occasion.

I have seen the R rated version in a standard keepcase in stores, but not the uncut version.

Does your copy have an R rating on the back at all? Does it say uncut edition on the cover or not? Check to make sure.

i thought the new sleeve version was for the original version, not the uncut one. the first one came in a clear case, now it also comes in a black case with artwork sleeve.

I actually hate the Saw Uncut jewel type case, the hub in mine was so tight it had cracked the disc in the center and I could barely get the disc off. I got a replacement copy with no crack but could still barely get the disc off the hub. I took the discs out and put them in other cases.

I like the blood bag but I hate the case.

I can be another one to confirm the new batch of Saw Uncut coming in normal amaray cases, very ugly cover art too. Saw tons of them at my local BB, I had to take a second look too, I couldn't believe it. I'm pretty happy with the blood packet case, very unique!

I've been holding off on getting this while hoping that they'd stop making the bloodpacks. Hate them. Guess it's safe to buy it now!

If you noticed also this is a TWO disk set, the blood in case version was only one disk. Why are going with 2 disks for this version, trying to get people to double dip again?

The bloodpack uncut version was two disks. Perhaps you're thinking of the original single-disk R-rated release in the clear packaging.

the Unrated's always been a 2-disc set.

I just my copy in the mail today from CH and it is indeed the new regular case. I am pissed because I really wanted the one with the blood pack. My order said "awaiting stock" for almost two weeks so that is probably what I was waiting for.

just got mine from CH today, a little pissed that it's not the blood packet one. I'm more pissed at how terrible looking the cover art is. I think I'll just make my own artwork for the case because I hate this thing.

I was in Best Buy today and saw two with the blood pack and probably about twenty without it.

makes sense, the fluff's expensive. heck, studios discontinue foil enhancement after a short period, let alone something more elaborate like the blood pack. it's great packaging, though!!
