From: I have always been here.
I've seen them all but Passion of Christ and Narina.
I have all but 7.
Of the 7, I owned 5 at one time but resold.
I plan to get Narnia.

I only have 25 from the better list (the second one). But I'm looking forward to collecting the other 25 much more than I am picking up the missing ones from the first list.

But still, I don't think that merits a "whofarted" smilie. After all, I've got hundreds and hundreds of DVDs from all periods, all countries (including such "minor" movie nations as Thailand, Mexico, Iran, etc.), many of which are non-R1, non-NTSC only releases, and including a very large collection of OOPs and "custom" DVDs not officially available in English-friendly versions.

It's simply a matter of taste, and with certain notable exceptions the highest money-making movies tend to be a bit too conventional for mine. Frankly, I put no premium on having a collection that looks exactly like what you'd find at a Tulsa-area Blockbuster.

I own 35 from the first list and 24 from the second. Personally I put much more merit into AFI's 100 Best and Sight & Sounds Best lists.

I don't necessarily avoid "popular" Hollywood movies just because they're popular, but I guess my tastes don't tend to jibe with the average moviegoer. I own:

13 Finding Nemo
31 The Incredibles
38 Toy Story 2

and--in general--I'm not a huge fan of animation...
