Funny thing is that I had almost 20 DVDs when I finally got around to buying a player. Popped in The Matrix and watched every bit of it that night. Second dvd? Big Daddy.

"Whatever it Takes" (2002) - it's actually the first DVD I ever purchased as well... I didn't even have a DVD Player at the time, had to watch it on my Computer.

My first actual DVD was The Thing, bought the same day I bought my first player in June of '99. But before that I watched a couple of DIVX discs, Alien and The X-files, which came free with my DVD/DIVX player along with three other DIVX titles.

The first disc I bought was The Abyss, I remember watching this on my PC before I bought my first player, along with all three James Bond box sets.

EYES WIDE SHUT in April of 2000. It`s low price was the reason I purchased a DVD player. New releases on VHS were (and still is) $100 +.
