Pet Sematary: Special Edition

I don't have any dates or official announcements, but a friend of mine that was involved with the production back in 1988 told me that he was interviewed for the Special Edition DVD recently. So i'm guessing that it'll be coming sometime in mid-to-late 2006.

I wonder if they unearthed the deleted scene of Pascow's death - that Fango talked about at the time of the film's initial release.

Almost picked this up in the Wal-Mart 5.50 bin. Think I'll wait and see the details.

Count me in as well. This is an excellent movie, as well as book.

Is this going to be a regular DVD or a Hi-Def (Blu-ray/HD) DVD?

Looking forward to hearing the specs. Paramount seems to be getting their asses in gear when it comes to DVD. They have brought out some nice editions as of late. Too bad they were 5 years too late. But, better late than never.

either dvd or both....their not going to limit the market to such a small consumer base.
