I'm not sure that this is really exlusive, because R3 also has a DE with the graphic novel. Just don't if this book is the same.

That info was before I knew everyone else would be offering the same version. Personally, I think itīs great itīs not "exclusive" to HMV only.

It's Warner so most likely it will be a keepcase. They haven't had digipacks in like 3 years.

Yep, as NitroJMS said it's probably a keepcase 2-discer w/ a slipcover a la Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire's differing releases. Which might mean a jazzy-looking slipcover.

Excited to see this movie. I'll be there August 1 at Wal-Mart to pick up the Deluxe Edition.

Can't wait.

The region3 of this comes in a steel-book case that's all the rage with the kids these days, and is out now.

After seeing the amazing posters and the selected print they used for the R1 2-discer, I think that steelbook's a shade on the boring side.

Wal-Mart usually doesn't stock deluxe/special editions when there's a single-disc alternative.

I'm pretty sure they'll come out a better packaging...probably Japan version? This movie deserves a nice packaging. I think i'll wait or get the Korean version of it.

Hmmmmm. Sorry, but I certainly know my Wal-Mart had the deluxe versions of Batman Begins and Walk the Line when they came out.

But not the ones for CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, CINDERELLA MAN, WAR OF THE WORLDS [2005], MUNICH and countless others; I did say "usually", but the trend seems to be the minority in your case...

Must be just your Wal-Mart then, because I've seen all of those at mine when they came out.

Maybe it's Circuit City's turn.

I'm excited to see what the retailers will have to offer - especially Target and BB. They have had some very cool extras with the past few releases.

I've discussed this issue with many here and at the HTF and all of them had the same problem, so I daresay it sounds like your Wal-Mart is the minority. Consider yourself VERY lucky...
