That steelbook's pretty sweet. I think it's stinks about the bilingual spine as well, however.
The Best Buy set is definitely nice, but the negative is that you have to hold open the lid to display the mask. Also, the thing is more box than actual substance. Great set, and if the mask was open to be viewed easier, then I might have bitten.
The Target slipcover is definitely loose, which stinks because it is definitely one of the COOLEST lenticulars I've ever seen. Plus, WOW at the 64-page graphic novel.
I ended up getting the standard slipcover two-disc edition.
No negatives, beautiful slipcover ... probably doesn't have an insert (WB), which will be one of the reasons I will have wanted the Target edition ... but whatever. Definitely a huge array of VERY nice exclusives.

I picked up the BB giftset and while the mask is small, it is a NICE sturdy hard plastic with a very nicely detailed paint job on the front. Worth the little bit of extra cash in my book and will make a cool little display that won't crowd my DVD shelves.

Anybody buy it from Wal-Mart? It's bundled with the Animatrix, although all I saw was FS that was with Animatrix, so I picked up the SE.
Maybe they had some WS one disc with Animatrix, but I just didn't look at the other aisle.

BTW, I hate how flimsy the DVD holder is for the Disc 1 on the 2 Disc DVD. Mine was already broken when I opened my set.

Ok, Willh51. I took some pics. I can't stress how annoying it is to photograph these things. I wasn't sure how you wanted it so I took one of just the "normal" cover and two of the full set (simliar to how Corpse Bride appears on there). Use whatever you think is best:

I actually had something like that happen to me last summer, when I got the Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection as a gift. My Mom got them to hold a copy of it at Best Buy and they did so. However, they wrote her name on a piece of paper and attached it to the box. They must have had the piece of paper on the box when they wrote it, because my Mom's name is imprinted into the VELVET box. Since it wasn't opened when I got it home and noticed that, I returned it and bought it somewhere different.
By the way, I went to Future Shop today and bought the 2-disc Special Edition there. I got the Exclusive Steelbook Packaging with it and I love it.

Got it from Circuit City. The lithograph is a beauty, but according to the checker, it's available only with the single-disc. Technically. She had made an exception for another customer, though, so she did the same for me. Was odd that the 2-disc wasn't shown in the weekly ad, and I guess that's why.

Thanks for doing that, I'm going to try to submit the one of the front cover to dvdaf to add to the listing. Assuming that it is okay with you, that is. I hope you didn't go to too much trouble. My cheap digital camera wouldn't do it and scanning it is a joke. The images you got are quite good for what you are photographing. I just finished watching the film, I loved it even more on dvd. I found the picture and audio to be excellent, I was a bit worried after some reviews said p.q. wasn't A+. Overall, I found the picture very sharp and defined, good stuff.

Hmm...Is it me or is the video on this disc not as top quality as it was supposed to be. I mean, it's a 4/5, but I was thinking it was going to be a 5...it was a tad grainy in parts that I don't remember it being grainy when I saw it in the theater (granted, I saw it in an IMAX...)

I went to my Target this morning to check out the lenticular cover. Didn't want to spend over $20 for a dvd that I have not seen in theater before but the cover was pretty cool so I had to get it. Oh, yeah just finish watching it and it's was GREAT!!! Loved the ending.
