Maybe he is offering it up as an alternative to waiting years for these shows to come out on DVD. Makes sense to me.

Most people who want these shows come to the DVD forum. Almost no one goes to the tv forum looking for rare shows. The tv forum is mostly meant to discuss new shows on the air now.

So, I put it here to draw it attention for those who were looking for the rare shows. Most people looking for these shows would be in this forum looking for them, not in the tv forum.

So, it might be a little out of place, but is it really such a big deal? It's not as if I am advertising free porn. Actually if I was, more people would want exposure to that as well. Though the adult section does get enough traffic as it is.
