Ice Age Super Cool?

Just picked up the Ice Age Super Cool Edition at walmart. Good price and I was even more siked about the free ticket to see the new one. Well I noticed on the sticker it says free kid's ticket to see Ice Age Meltdown (6.50 value).

I've yet to open it to check but has anyone else got this yet and can confirm it's only for kids?

i am pretty positve that its a $6.50 value of a ticket, meaning that you can use up to $6.50 towards your ticket price.

It does say ADMIT ONE CHILD on the top of my ticket for $6.50. Since its the same price as the matinee, I am sure they will take it. They better or thats just bull. Thats age discrimination!

My movie ticket says "Admit One Child" too. I don't even know if I'm going to try it, because I don't think my movie theater is going to go for that.

I have 2 children that I will be taking to Ice Age 2, so I bought Ice Age and Anastasia (both have the Free Child's ticket, as does Ferngully).

I have the original Ice Age 2-Disc, but I figured I could sell 1 of the versions and make more than the $5 it ultimately costs me.

There was a nicer way to ask that, but I'll give you your answer anyway....

From the back of the box, it says:

"...whole new way with the Super-Cool Edition of Ice Age, featuring an Extreme Cool View version that combines fun and entertaining facts about animated filmmaking and the real Ice Age as you watch the movie."

So it's basically info text that pops up on the screen while you watch the movie???

A movie that's designed for kids who can't keep up with this stuff anyways. Ingenious idea on their part. Open the register and I'll just throw all of my money in there.

I as well opened mine up and it says admit one child. You might get lucky but most likely it won't work.

That's pretty harsh...hope they don't start doing that crap. We like those movies also and we don't have kids.

Luckily my wife and I are joining Big Brothers Big Sisters so we might be able to use it.

The only reason I bought it was I didn't have it.
