Battlestar Galactica DVD extras question
I'm just starting to watch this for the first time via Netflix. I've already watched the miniseries and I really enjoyed the commentary track on that. I'm about to start into Season 1 proper, and I'm wondering if the commentaries on that are okay to watch, or if they're spoilery, a la Buffy. Normally I'd finish the season (or series) and then go back & watch the extras, but I'm being a cheap-ass renter, so...
Thanks for any advice!

Someone did, thanks! There was a similar Buffy thread in the TV area that had a lot of replies, so I went with that, but I agree that this makes more sense. Hopefully someone here can clue me in.

It's been awhile but from what I recall they weren't too bad (wrt spoilers). I think they hinted at some things but never really gave anything away. On the hand I don't recall being overly impressed w/ the commentaries either though...

All the commentaries are available free on scifi.com/battlestar/downloads/podcast .. i'd watch the episodes, then listen to the podcasts when you get a chance..they're not really that essential to be listened to while you watch unless you really really want to.. but that's what I'd do

I don't recall, but pilot's suggestion sounds good.
I do have to mention that the beginning of each episode has the potential to be a spoiler. I always skipped over it.
It drove me crazy that they'd flash a bunch of scenes from an episode you're just about to watch.
