My Dad buys a lot of movies I would consider "awful," like Jet Li movies and such, but he loves them. He does frame by frame on a lot of the fight scenes to see how they do them (we both took Martial Arts in the past). So I guess one person's "bad" movie, is another person's favorite.

Any films in my collection that I'm displeased with I usually trade or give away, so I really don't have any films that I don't like.
If anything it would be "Ghost in the Shell 2," I thought it was a very disappointing follow-up but I hold onto it because I still enjoy some of it and the animation is unbelievable.
Also, my roommate would say "Dead Birds," but I thought it (though flawed) was awesome. And I guess "Dog Soldiers" isn't a gleaming work of art, but I enjoy it thoroughly for what it's worth. Plus, I'm a sucker for werewolves.

Well as of right now the worst DVD I own is Kingdom of Heaven DC, but I will soon rectify that.

I used to have Deuces Wild as a blind buy, but I traded that away.

Right now, I'd say the worst I have is probably either xXx or New Suit. The latter was another blind buy. I'll probably hang onto it just because it's about a wannabe screenwriter (like myself), but it's not very good. xXx was just an error in judgement. I'd trade it away if I could.

Well it's the only version I've seen, but I thought it was a very banal story with a lot of contrived dialogue. I felt nothing for any of the characters. Frankly I had to fast-forward some through the last hour. Granted it had some pretty cinematography and several bursts of beautifully-shot artistic brilliance I expect from a Ridley Scott film, but nothing to make me watch it again. Very disappointed.

Oh well...Blade Runner gets re-released again soon, at least.

Well, I buy alot of fitness DVDs (and actually use them, thought I'd head that off at the pass. LOL ) so the worst I own is Belly Twins (Neena & Veena) Indi-Hop. GAWD that sucks. Its awful & got reamed at collagevideo.com (a fitness video site)

The worst tv boxed set we owned, was actually hubby's buy, MacGuyver (sp?) Season 1. UGH that was bad.

Movie ? The Water Boy. We promptly traded that in.

Terrible movies.
I almost forgot about Dr. T & The Women. I'd rather watch my husband take a long stinky messy sh&t after having 12 bowls of spicy chili than watch that piece of garbage ever again in.

The worst movie I've ever owned (and still have for some dumb reason) is the Family Man. I hate Nicholas Cage and I loathe bad romantic "fish out of water" comedies so I have no clue how I ended up with it.

Probably my FS version of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. My wife's friend gave it to her. I think it's the only non-OAR film I own that is available in OAR. I thought the movie was OK but don't feel the need to see it again.

Sideways

I may have some that are worse, but that is one movie I just love to hate.

For me it would probably have to be "Inside iPod", which is a how-to DVD for one of the most easy-to-use devices ever invented. For some reason though, I keep hanging on to it. I guess that's just how the Apple disease affects some people. I have no desire to be cured, of course.

I typically have no trouble getting rid of the "duds" in my collection, and even have a special bin for all my cast-offs before they get traded in. I also try to rent as much as possible before buying, but I still end up with duds sometimes. When I do though, it doesn't matter how little it's worth in trade, I get rid of it anyway. I'll often go to smaller shops where you just get a blanket estimate for the whole lot, that way I don't know that I'm getting little or nothing for certain discs. Even if I have to just throw them away, I don't keep duds in my collection (and even Inside iPod has its merits) -- I just don't have room for that!

Probably one, if not both, of my Jet Li DVDs The One and Kiss of the Dragon. Perhaps Kung Pow.

No wait, This one takes the cake.............The Real Cancun. Stupid stupid blind pickup at one of the Black Friday Walmart sales by friend.

The two Jet Li DVDs were also busted when I was given them. They were given to me used. I have always said I would trade them in one of these days.

"R2-D2 Beneath the Dome" - oh my God, this thing is embarrassing. I can't bring myself to throw it out, for some reason. I've hidden it though so I never have to see it again (until I move, which will probably be next year - I'm dreading the moment I come across it).

I'd be willing to paypal you $2 for postage if you want to mail it to me instead of throwing it out. ;-)

For some reason, I tend to not get rid of movies I dislike. I figure that I've got the room on my shelves, so they might as well stay there. Chances are good that all the people who basically "rent" movies from my collection will want it at some point. If the movie is really crappy, it's usually my mom or my mother-in-law that wants it. Probably the worst is Circle of Friends. Honorable mention goes to In Love & War, Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2, and Island of the Dead.

Fear Dot Com followed closely by a little gem called Redneck Zombies.

Dead and breakfast. I thought combining my two favorite things was a good idea, boy was I wrong. I'll give it to my brother-in-law. He is the king of just plain really low budget horror.
