"Two for the Money" unedited version?

Does anyone know if the "Two for the Money" unedited version, or director's cut version, will be available on DVD or elsewhere? It was just released a couple of days ago, and has been shown the last few days on some pay-per-view services.

The film stars Pacino and McConaughey, and the original was released on DVD back in January.

hmm...an unrated version on DVD? I suppose stranger things have happened.

In all seriousness, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if a "director's cut" version were released somewhere down the line

It's not a whole lot different, about five minutes of added time.

That's why I was thinking they may not bother producing another DVD. I thought perhaps someone here was privy to the info of whether they are. Also, is there precedent for showing an unedited version on pay-per-view for a couple month run, and having it no where else ever?

RE: "The Cooler"

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid may happen to this. Thanks for the info, though.

Look for it later this year.

Not being much of a DVD expert, I'm not so sure what this precisely means. However, it sounds good for me. Thanks, Dean.

Not exactly the response I was looking for, but I'll take it!

easterngarbo, I was simply poking fun at the fact that since the term Special Edition is no longer that "special", studio's are now making up their own editions, that usually tie into the movie. I think there is an old thread where members posted their own titles.

This film could have been better. The Theatrical Cut was alright, so I'd be interested in seeing a Director's Cut, if it improves the film.

They always mess around in the director's cut version. i always like to see the theatrical cut becuz it is more of a fun watching it. and probably the DVD of director's cut is now available.

I see, Dean, so maybe it's not so good for me.
