Predict the next Double Dip

I'll wager my entire dvd collection on the chances they'll release another edition of Fantastic Four. Same goes for Transporter 2. From a historical standpoint, Fox is quite consistent with their re-releases. What other releases do you think we'll see by the end of the year? Let's exclude those that have already been confirmed, i.e. Kingdom of Heaven. This thread may be useful to those who want to hold out for an eventual super duper eber ultimate edition.

Here are my other surefire predictions
Saw II uncut - Halloween 06, to coincide with the sequel
King Kong - November. 4 disc extravaganza
The Island - 2 disc SE Director's Cut w/DTS

How about double dips for:

Superman 2-disc to coincide with Superman Returns
Another Pirates of the Caribbean, before Dead Man's Chest
Another Omen S.E, with a free ticket to 666!
Sin City: The Real Unrated Version, featuring Jessica Alba's lost nude scenes

[EDIT: Took out confirmed double-dips]
Kill Bill 4-Disc set
The Maltese Falcon SE
King Kong EE

... and I'll gladly double dip for the Island DC in DTS. It's a Michael Bay, I mean c'mon - it's gotta have DTS.

Why are some people posting titles that are already confirmed releases?
This is supposed to be a prediction thread, you aren't exactly going out on a limb posting something that is already known to be coming out.

Superman will be dipped again with the new 14 disc collection due at the end of the year...and from what the Warner rep has said. It will include Superman Returns.

I should have known. I thought the one that was released a while ago with the icepick was called the Ultimate edition, so Extreme would be the next step.

I was thinking of picking up Domino this weekend. What's New Line's patterns on double dibs? I know they released Dumb and Dumber Unrated, but can't think of any others. Should I go ahead and pick this one up?

And that one was 10 years after the movie release.

Thing about Domino is it wasn't a box office hit though I guess it could do well on DVD... I highly doubt they'll release an unrated edition unless they pull a Sony and just insert the deleted scenes already included on the disc (I don't think there are any others).

Hmm...

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair
Jerry Maguire: 10 Years of Showing Cuba Gooding Jr. the Money Edition
Army of Darkness: Book of the Dead Edition (be sure to say "Klaatu Verrata Nikto" before buying it!)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (released as 25th Anniversary stand-alone SE)

Army of Darkness WILL NOT get a Book of the Dead. It is not owned by Anchor Bay any longer. Here is what I expect...

This year...
King Kong:4 Disc Extended MegaSet
Fantastic Four:Extended
Mr. & Mrs. Smith:Unrated(or possibly Director's Cut,as the movie was cut from a R to PG-13 so more Jolie nudity and some more violence!)
X-Men 2.5
Scream:10th Anniversary Director's Cut SE
Chasing Amy X
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back SE(w/ the documentary)
Jersey Girl:Extended
Saw II Uncut this October for Halloween & Saw III tie-in

Next Year
Spider-Man:A REAL Special Edition
Spider-Man 2.5

Unknown...
Kill Bill:Whole Bloody Affair
Rumored-Dogma:Extended
and there was also rumors for a Shaun of the Dead:SE,that would rock!

I wish they would release a special edition of "Equilibrium". I'd be interested in double dipping on that one.

i have heard the dogma dvd will be released in the summer (it'll probably be the cannes cut which was about 145 minutes, and not the full 210 cut) mainly the fat albert scene and one or two others were in the cannes cut and not in the dvd.

That would make a triple dip for the original but I can see it happening. Wasn't there a problem with the current 1.5 version? maybe the new one will remedy that.

I'm eagerly awaiting X2.5 as I didn't pick up the original release...

BTW, what's wrong with 1.5???

Nothing's wrong with it per se, but from what I remember, it was supposed to feature an extended cut of the film (hence the 1.5 title) for some reason that did not happen.

It's a great release nonetheless
