I have picked up the first 2 DVDs, which are definitely much cheaper than the Limited box set, but I do wish they had gone with a 4-volume set, instead of 5. I will probably complete the series anyway.
I really wish they would also release the uncut Japanese episodes of Mach Go Go Go, with subtitles, the way that 99% of anime has been released in the U.S. From what I understand, there wasn't a lot cut, but there were some minor things. Also, the Japanese masters would be 35 millimeter, instead of the 16 millimeter masters over here.

I'm NOT going to buy volume 4 or 5 at these prices. When volume 1 was released, TV boxsets were very expensive, so $11 for Volume 1 @ Costco was a good deal. But 8 episodes for (what will be) $14?! No sale.
I'm not "own3d" by any DVD producer. I'm not a slave to a "completist compulsion". I thought that volume 3 and it's hokey tin was a mistake but that they'd learn from it and release a quality volume 4. On the contrary, they took the sales of vol.3 and thought that PT Barnum was right, there IS a sucker born every minute.
It is only a sucker punch the FIRST time.

Good read. I will buy (Just as I bought Sex and the City Season 6 PART ONE AND TWO!) but they can make up for it all, by including some special features from the box set (All? Most?)
