Is the WWE WM Anthology OOP already?

Is the WWE Wrestlemania Anthology box set Out Of Print already? In the MA area here you cannot locate one at any B&M store, seems to be plenty on Ebay but who knows what you get from them....

Class316 02-09-06 03:23 PM

They stopped producing. So whatever you find now that's it.

cerial442 02-09-06 03:57 PM

Are the individual sets out of print as well?

JZ1276 02-09-06 06:39 PM

i ordered this set from DDD in december and still have no got it yet...keeps saying backorder...its OOP

Quack 02-09-06 07:22 PM

Yea, from lordsofpain it says that they are not being produced anymore. It didn't look like a great set with them not having full commentary with Jesse the body Ventura anyways, and the blurs from the WWF Attitude logo.

They shouldn't be.

SuperBatMan 02-09-06 07:50 PM

Ventura's commentary was there.

The 4 individual sets are still in print, the big box is out of print.

Do you own one? or not?

Qui Gon Jim 02-10-06 03:42 AM

Again: There is absolutely no way to get around the blurring of the scratch logo. I am sure if they could forgo it, the WWE would. It can't possibly make the production of these sets easier.
Jesse's commentary was complete.

I don't think so. McMahon purposefully violated the agreement he had with the Wildlife Fund because he believed he was big enough to do so. I'm sure he could throw a hefty donation to them to get permission to release DVD's w/out having to blur the logo, but that would mean having to admit that he was wrong, and his ego can't handle that.

DVD Giant 02-10-06 08:10 AM

The blurred logos don't bother me, if they bother you, I can sell you my old vhs tapes.

dadaluholla 02-10-06 11:58 AM

I thought for sure with the Anthology out, I would see more used copies (and cheaper) of the old OOP Wrestlemania 15-18 dvds, but they're still selling for quite a bit.
:(

cerial442 02-10-06 01:06 PM

Wrestlemania 20 is out of print as well according to DVDAF

dadaluholla 02-10-06 02:09 PM

I think there may have been 2 different versions of Wrestlemania XX. Only one of them is OOP.

Just by reading the myriad of conversations we've had over the past few years on here, it's obvious that many people still want the original versions w/ the scratch logo, and no censoring of "WWF."

You haven't learned anything by watching the WWE recently? The message is this: "Vince knows what you want more than you know what you want, so you better just take what's fed to you".

(This is in regards to 1) them taking the title off Edge despite higher ratings for the 3 weeks he had the title; 2) ignoring all the negative feedback on them using Eddie Guerrero's death the way they have been; and 3) despite Rey winning the Rumble and "getting a title shot at Wrestlemania", he won't because they want Orton vs Angle for WM, despite a proven track record of Angle having great matches w/ Rey in the past)

Erik68 02-10-06 06:38 PM

The show has done the same ratings the last two weeks without Edge as champion that it did with him as champion!

Everyone knows that WrestleMania is the Triple H show.

If he could make it possible, the Wrestlemania main event would be HHH vs. HHH.

But then who would job?

Al Padrino 02-11-06 10:00 AM

Yeah, we'll just ignore that the ratings haven't dropped back down since they took the title off of him.

The original digipak is OOP. The rerelease has all 3 discs stacked on top of each other in a normal keepcase.

Quack 02-11-06 01:48 PM

Sorry for my assinine comments....I had thought his commentary wasn't going to be there because of copyright issues....but alas I was horribly wrong...
