Personally, I'm not interested in these. But it makes me wonder if TV show revivals (Buffy/Angel, Firefly, Farscape, Babylon 5) are being considered. Seems logical that if Like Mike 2 can get the greenlight, a direct-to-DVD Buffyverse (or similar) project could certainly be a hit.
According to "Folklore" Paramount briefly considered a three movie direct-to-DVD Star Trek project in early 2004. These discussions supposedly came about due to the fact that the Nemesis DVD sales were much stronger than Paramount expected based on how poorly that movie had performed during its theatrical exhibition. These series of movies were supposedly going to be based on new adventures of (now) Captain Riker and his wife Troi on the USS Titan (This is the ship they transfered to following their marriage in the last Star Trek feature movie.) Somehow, these three movies (which would have been released in May of 2006, 2007, and 2008) would end up tieing in with the last episode of the seventh season of Enterprise (speculation is that it had something to do with the "Temporal War"). When Enterprise was almost cancelled at the conclusion of its third season, and it was pretty obvious at that point that its fourth season would be its last, the discussions regarding the Frakes/Sirtis project were dropped. Since Frakes and Sirtis had already signed a one year contract at that point, they were available for the "These are the Voyages ..." Enterprise finale'. Again, this is all "rumour" and "Folklore"; but if true I think Paramount made a huge mistake in not greenlighting the Frakes/Sirtis Direct-to-DVD Project in 2004 as it had a huge upside potential for maximizing their Star Trek investment and could possibly have revitalized the franchise since there was still a huge core following for the TNG cast at that point.

I'm guessing Eliza Dushku won't be back for Wrong Turn 2.

I would think that she is not in it, but we can hope and dream. It wasn't a completely horrible movie for what it was supposed to be.

Hell, I'm sure Katharine Isabelle would be all over it. Then she'd complain about how ridiculous these movies are before doing Ginger Snaps Forever or something.

I'm still waiting for DTV Road House 2, dammit.

Releasing movies straight to DVD may not be a bad future idea for some flicks. I'm looking forward to trying out a Wrong Turn 2

Atrocious cover art here . You can blame the white kid on the cover for all the problems in the world.

That's just ugly. The white kid I mean. $10 says he's the most annoying character in the film.
