I've been waiting for that forever. Hey guys, Weird Science has been out on DVD for years now. Originally on a bare bones Image released disc, and then Universal itself re-released it, twice. First, as part of the HIGH SCHOOL REUNION collection - along with Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, which you could buy in a 3 pack box set, or seperately. And more recently, as the re-released and re-titled BRAT PACK COLLECTION. There's also 3 O'Clock High, which carries the "HSR" title, but was not included in the box set, as it was not directed by John Hughes, and doesn't include much of the same cast. im not sure where you are, but i have all 3 mad max flicks. not the best transfers in the world, and a box set would be awesome, but they all have been released.

There's an awful lot of The African Queen requests. Great film of course, and it's got a great UK DVD release here Why wait? |

The first film was also made 'better' for US audiences by over-dubbing Mel Gibson with an American voice (although he is American of course, he's got an Australian accent having lived their since childhood). I think all the latest versions of Mad Max have the correct Gibson voice and are uncut. Thank gawd. |
