Just found out rather randomly, through tolling around Amazon, that one of my long awaited titles is finally getting a DVD release on August 18th. Oh, it's nothing spectacular, but it's one of my favorite 80's B-movie/sex comedies...I'm talking about Spring Break. For anyone else who gives a damn, Anchor Bay is releasing that and Hardbodies (1 & 2) on the same day. Not too many spec details, but I'm pretty sure both will likely be bare bones editions. other than that, I really don't care, as I'm just excited to finally upgrade my nearly warn out VHS copy.

Galaxy Quest without the salty language re-dubs and edits. Saw the uncensored version in the theaters and laughed my ass off . Can't recapture the magic even with the recent (and still dubbed) reissue.

1984 comedy "Delivery Boys". Amazon had it listed for June 11, 2007 but evidentally was only an UK release. I keep watching TV listings hopeing to find it scheduled so I can record it. |
