Not the greatest of all movies, but enjoyed it enough to buy it from a $5 bin.

I'm dying to see the extended cut of The Avengers, but I'm 98% sure THAT will never happen.

I'm still waiting for a widescreen version of Frantic. I bought the fullscreen version years ago. I've always preferred OAR, even when I had a 4:3 television, however, I really like this movie and ended up buying what was available.
Does anyone know if this will ever be released in it's OAR?

This is my top want - and has been for about 9 years now. MTV needs to unfuck itself and release this. It just makes absolutely no sense to sit on something that is ready to go. According to the state blog, there wasn't any legal holdup. I sold my Skits and Stickers VHS a few years back for $120...

The other thing I'm waiting for that was announced and never brought out, is the Original Japanese version of Go-lion (Voltron), with subtitles. WEP, who has done a great job with the US dubbed Voltron series, said it would be out "sometime next year" and that was in the middle of '06.

I'm still waiting on this one, Chimes at Midnight (aka Falstaff). Orson Welles' last masterpiece and about as perfect a choice for the Criterion Collection as anything that I can think of.

The major battle sequence from the film is online, though:

(The cowardly fat guy in armour is Falstaff)

Yeah, wasn't there also some chick with cinnamon rolls on the side of her head and some evil dictator dude in a black cape and helmet? Harrison Ford was in it too.

Honestly, I can't remember the name of the movie, but I remember the second two were also pretty good!

I'd like to see a proper release of Renny Harlin's Prison. I think there has only been one release so far in Germany, but the OAR is incorrect.

No kidding. I tried emailing Showtime but no response. Definitely needs a release - even if they want to time it with Fallout 3 ;p
