If you grew up in the eighties, if you're at all nostalgic for eighties pop culture and music, if you like Adam Sandler (even if just a little bit), if you like Drew Barrymore (who is cute as hell in it), if you like cheesy/sweet romantic comedies, if you like rappin' grannies, then yeah, I'd say it's probably worth a blind buy.

It's funny how many people have avoided this movie because they can't stand Sandler. This is the probably the most subdued performance he's done except for Punch Drunk Love where he spends half the movie nearly comatose. If you're reluctant, don't worry - it's not the Billy Madison/Happy Gilmore Sandler.
