Bought the first one cheap so I will most likely pick this one up.

Adore this film. I'll definitely be picking this up for the extended cut. I just hope it will have the theatrical cut on it too so I can dump the existing disc.

Stupid effing title.

Good movie.

I don't have the first, so I'll probably pick this up if I can get it for under $10.

This was one of the first DVDs I bought about seven? years ago and I still haven't watched it since the time I rented a copy. So I should probably pass on a double dip.

No, you should get rid of the first copy and get this new release.

There must be a reason you never watched it. I say it's fate.

I still need to see this movie. Never got around to it. Is it worth a blind buy?

If you grew up in the eighties, if you're at all nostalgic for eighties pop culture and music, if you like Adam Sandler (even if just a little bit), if you like Drew Barrymore (who is cute as hell in it), if you like cheesy/sweet romantic comedies, if you like rappin' grannies, then yeah, I'd say it's probably worth a blind buy.

It's funny how many people have avoided this movie because they can't stand Sandler. This is the probably the most subdued performance he's done except for Punch Drunk Love where he spends half the movie nearly comatose. If you're reluctant, don't worry - it's not the Billy Madison/Happy Gilmore Sandler.
