how was this? been meaning to rent this.

I really enjoyed it. One of Herzog's better docs right up there with Grizzly Man and Burden of Dreams. It had a lot of gorgeous shots of the rainforest and all of its inhabitants as well. Very interesting central character too who had a lot of inner conflict over things that happened in his past. However I can see how a casual viewer may be "bored" with it because it is very slow and lyrical. But if you have seen a lot of Herzog's documentaries and like them, your in for a treat with The White Diamond.
