DVDAF Who's got it?

Did the Who's Got It? feature completely disappear from DVDAF or am I just crazy?

I was actually looking for that myself the other day. I kind of miss it, given I kept track of who owned "This Island Earth" just for personal reasons.

I want to know where it went. It was such a great, useful tool. Sure, you wouldn't need to know who had "Braveheart" but if it was an obscure film, you could compare tastes with others.

Here we go..

We had to turn off the "Who is got it?" feature in the main site. We believe it was placing too much or a burden on the regular member requests and slowing down things. Sorry
Doesn't make much sense to me, honestly. However, they claim it will be back after it's been re-tooled.

It's been gone for a few months now. Hope it comes back soon. It was my favorite feature.

Yeah...don't freak out about it....it will return with dvdaf V2 at some point. I use to use it quite a bit but the last few years I stopped caring if someone else had something I had or visa versa or whatever.

A feature like that would have to crawl the database for every user on the system. It makes a lot of sense programatically.
