X-Files Box Set?

I am looking for a multi-season dvd set of the X-Files. I saw something once like a suitcase box set? Anyway, if someone could tell me some sites to check out it would be great! I have a multi-region player so region codes should not be a problem.

I think that what you want is the Brazilian release, which came with file cabinet.

It is hard to find and expensive.

If only I weren't so impatient and could wait for something like this. Wow!

Unfortunately the Brazilian file cabinet packaging wasn't a complete box set -- several seasons still hadn't been released at that point, so it only included everything that had come out so far (seasons 1-5, I think) and required the buyer to fill in the rest later. And, as noted earlier, it's out of print. This is probably closer to what you're looking for, although it's OOP as well (Amazon claims it ships within 4-6 days, but that's not always accurate).

What I can't figure out is why that cabinet was released only in Brazil? Wtf!?! I would have bought it in a heart beat given the chance.

what about the box set advertised on dvd talk, through a site called "tvboxsets.com". a complete set for 199.99 w/ free shipping. Anyone bought from them or have more info? they claim their dvd's "will play on any dvd player" any info would be appreciated.
? any plans this year for a complete box set of x-files in this country with the new releases and price drops about to come out??
thanks,
smurr

Bootlegs. Unfortunately some of DVD Talk's ads are automatically generated by Google, which bootleggers often use to buy ads.

The file cabinet is what I was thinking of. That set is HOT! I need to stay alert for that! I don't like the asian bootlegs that are all over eBay. I wish I hit on that file cabinet! DAMN!

is there any news of a region 1 or region 4 release of the full set? it seems that with the release of the buffy set, futurama set and friends set. x-files should be the next tv show to get a worthwhile release.

They are getting price drops, so a bundle pack shouldn't be that far.
