Basically, the limited edition includes the regular DVD plus story books. Each volume has its own limited edition and regular edition.

Check out the official website too

If you're into Columbia House memberships, they now have the first two volumes available as enrollment selections. These are the standard editions.

Some may not find any use for them, but I love the story books ... it's like a step-by-step storyboard for the volume you're watching. I only have the first volume SE (my vols. 2 and 3 are regular).

My only complaint was that the SE box is kinda flimsy.

Well, that was your problem-you needed 100 different addresses.

hmm... The regular editions can be had for around $17, whereas the limited ones are around $45.

You can get almost 3 of the regular dvds for the price of just one limited... Are they worth the extra $28?

Hell no IMHO.
All you get extra is the big box and the extra storyboard books, which to me are useless. But of course, i keep buying the limited editions because i bought the LE for the first one and want to have the rest to go with it.

what strange logic:

is it worth $28 more to have more stuff (big box and extra books)? --> No
is it worth $28 more to have consistency on my shelf? --> Yes

oh well... i agree that a nicelookin shelf is a nicelookin shelf.

I found the LE's at my best buy today for 29.99, online they are 44.99. So if your store carries them they may be only like $10 more!

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy rose-colored glasses? What would be neat is that with the last volume, you also get a really big box to put all of these LEs into.
