0. I've never seen the series and plan to watch that first. But I have good reason to suspect I'll be getting the series for Christmas from my kids (since I'm the one who picked it out and paid for it).

It's one thing to click the 'zero' selection, but to take the time to write it makes this thread a very crappy read. Three pages of essentially the same post.

Serenity now...Insanity later.

I bought it last night, and finished watching it this morning. Great movie. I've only saw one episode of 'Firefly', and hopefully I'll be able to get to Best Buy this weekend to pick up that set.

If its for gift.. its like gift-giving a trashy film, might as well keep it to yourself rather than sharing it.

You may have liked it but majority dont. Serenity for once is one of 2005's Theatrical FLOP. Its total US boxoffice earning is only $25million ($15million lost from its film budget of $40million)

Not only that, The film was based from a short-run, immediately axed, dullfest and cancelled TV series called Firefly.

I couldnt blame it why the polls' majority is intact to ZERO.

If that is not a sufficient excuse why it was 0 , then ATTN: to the one who started this thread, have yourself a reality check.. try starting a poll.. on why in the first place you started a poll which your idealism is exactly an opposite of the majority

Theres a difference between the majority not seeing it and the majority not liking it. I think a good percentage of people that actually sat down and actually gave it a chance came away liking it. Regardless of any personal opinion of the movie, the DVD is selling very well. It #1 on Amazon the other day and my Best Buy sold out a huge number of copies by the end of Tuesday.

Also, the argument that the show was bad because it was quickly cancelled is a silly argument. I guess Freaks And Geeks and Undeclared are garbage since they lasted less than a season as well.

None yet. I'll pick it up eventually...maybe I'll wait until Hastings has it as a $9.99 clearance rental, that way I can buy it and not contribute to it's overall sales.

Kidding.

Spoiler:
Maybe.

I wonder how long we'll have to wait before the Moderators put this thread out of its misery?

The ironic thing is that if someone started a thread titled "So, how many copies of Must Love Dogs did you buy yesterday?" it would get locked within minutes.

I have not bought any, but I am getting a copy as a present from my brother. Have tried to get a couple of people on the bandwagon by lending out Firefly, but none really took to it. They enjoyed it, but did not go crazy over it.
