How many Tv shows on dvd completed so far?
As a huge tv show on dvd fan and a fan of television in general. Nothing beats being able to watch any episode of a tv show at anytime. So what shows have you completed so far and what shows are you on the brink of completion.
Shows completed
Buffy the vampire slayer 1-7
Friends 1-10
What's happening 1-3
Chappelle show 1-2 (?)
One set away from completion (need to buy/needs to be released)
Tru calling season 2
Saved by the bell season 5
Dawson's creek season 6
Edit:Updated for the sake of clarity
Looks like the thread took on a few different meanings then originally intended, my apologies for the confusion. I thought i was as clear as possible. With that said. Feel free to contribute however way you want. It's not a huge deal.....just talking about dvd's.
Anyway...Let me rephrase the question for the sake of clarity.
How many tv shows on dvd in which every season has been made available for purchase, do you own complete. (for example: friends)
How many dvd's are you one set away from completing ....Whether it needs to be purchased by you or needs to be released by the company. (for example: dawson's creek season 6)
Also, just added a brand new question.....
How many dvd's do you own complete to date. For example: You own simpsons season 1 thru 7, yet the series isn't really complete because they still need like 10 more seasons to be released.
Once again sorry for the confusion. Carry on.

I think the only ones I've completed, that I own, or have owned, are:
Simpsons 1-4
Mary Tyler Moore S1
Futurama v4
Red Dwarf s1-4
Upright Citizens Brigade s1
Young Ones Every SToopid Episode
Farscape S1
Buffy S1 and 2

I don't own Buffy, but I've been working my way through it, and lots of anime series, through BBO.

I'm confuesed by this thread. Why are people listing shows that still have seasons to come like C.S.I. Miami and The Sopranos? I thought this thread was about shows that have been completed, as in either they ended or were cancelled. I understand that you may have every season that has been released thus far for certain shows, but it does not mean that you own every episode of that show's run.
Edit: Nevermind. Maybe you guys are just talking about shows that you finished watching.

Just Firefly and Freaks and Geeks complete for me (easy when the entire seasons are packaged together), although I'll continue to buy the Battlestar Galactica seasons as they arrive.

I had the first few M*A*S*H* sets but sold them. I figure they're up to season 9 out of what, 11?, so it won't be too long before there's a discounted price for the entire series.
Maybe they'll put them all in a footlocker!

Right, so it looks like the thread is about if you've bought all the seasons for a TV show that are available at the present time.
Might have been better to just ask what shows do you own which are missing seasons or something like that.
Ho hum.

Carry on.

Agreed. TV on DVD is huge, and it makes it harder for me to convince myself to buy a movie unless it's a gotta-have [20 bucks for 2 hour movie and maybe 4 hours bonus content, vs 20-40 bucks for 10-30 hours of tv programming that is 'easier' to watch {schedule-wise}].
The revised question limits the answers a great deal. How many programs are *fully* out on dvd, that weren't just one or one and a half seasons?
Friends
Xfiles
Buffy
Angel
The Star Treks
Monty Python
?
I don't have many 'complete' series, unless they were single-release [Firefly, Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Schoolhouse Rock, UCB].
I also have the complete Cardcaptor Sakura series, but that's about it. And I have sold a bunch, either that I have already watched and probably won't watch again [Farscape S1], or that I started watching, then realized that I didn't really want to watch it [Spawn TAS]. And if I could make money on it
