Buffy Missing disk

I just got Buffy the Vampire Slayer: the chosen collection tonight at costco
and I noticed I'm missing the last disk in season one. Sooo should I take it
right back to costco or try to get a replacement disk from 20th century fox?

This makes me sad...Any body else missing a disk?

This happens (never to me, but I've read plenty of stories of it happening). Taking it back to Costco should work out fine.

I think your first step would have been to give this thread a less-vague title. You're more likely to get Buffy help if people know it's a Buffy thread.

Taking it back to Costco is your best, fastest, hassle-free option

Well I didn't get any missing discs, but I got an extra set of season seven discs instead of any season six discs. I just returned it to DDD and after about 3 weeks of processing and slow shipping I got another one and it was fine. So this set is not problem free. Maybe Costco has more in the back that you don't know about.

I don't know about this set, but I was missing the disc for Twister. Thankfully, I opened it in time to be able to exchange it. Now, before I buy I aways shake/tap the box to make sure there is a disc in there. Of course, that won't work for a box set. And, I would definitely, definitely, definitely take it back to Costco instead of trying to deal with Fox. No question there.

Now, I also make sure that the discs are all present and that they're all labeled correctly (i.e. disc1, disc2, etc.) because I've also seen a couple of sets with 2 extra features discs, but no movie disc.

It does happen.

It happened with my first Wonderfalls set I bought at Costco.

Quick return / exchange.

Missing disks are probably more common in mass produced box sets. I would imagine.

i had a missing disc with smallville. If you take it back to the store then they should exchange it. And if they don't have any copies left they should give you a full refund.

I live in the UK but on a recent trip to New York bought the Seinfeld Season 4 volume 5 boxset from Entertainment Outlet on 24 West 40th Street. Unfortunately, now I'm back in the UK I have just discovered disc 4 is missing. Obviously I can't take it back to the shop so I guess my only route is contacting Sony. Has anyone had any experience of dealing with a studio direct? Or is there another route I could try?

In the future, it may be a good idea to open your DVDs in the store after purchasing, (especially the box sets) to make sure that all the discs are included, and inspect for other visual defects.

How old are you young man? I think at your age, and have the capability to buy the said set at Costco, Im pretty sure you are "not that dependent with others and have the capability to be resourceful and logical on how you undertake your actions".

Rude much? Did you read the whole thread?

I am not a "young man" and the main reason for the post was more to find out if any others had a problem with the box set..

And BTW after the "third" trip back to costco I opened the set in the snack bar and checked each disk.. I've learned my lesson.
