You guys are right, that's a terrible choice for cover art. I wonder if they chickened out on using the "gun cover" or if they're just vision impaired.

Man I was so hoping they were going to use the poster art for the cover. I love the gun poster. I actually called in my theatre connections to score one of the posters.(possibly 2). This and the Walk the Line poster are two of my favourite posters of recent years.

Wasn't there supposed to be an Unrated Edition coming out? I've heard that there is more violence that was cut, but it was supposedly going to be re-integrated back into the movie for the dvd.

Oh and what is this about the 'U.S. vs International' version featurette? I sure hope the film was not cut to get an R rating and other countries got the full version. If that is so,I'm very pissed when they do 'comparison' featurettes and only release the edited version in the U.S.

EDIT: found an interview with Cronenberg on another site. In it, he says the following:
In this case there were no battles over the sex scenes; I mean the MPAA didn’t ask me to cut anything so there just hasn’t been a problem.

Great flick, but I don't know if it warrents a purchase for me. The cheerleader scene was pretty hot though.

Not to create an echo in the forum, but that IS some seriously bad cover art.
Let's hope on some creativity with a slipcover. Wasn't this supposed to be a better flick than the typical "slap a cover together and get it on the market" movie?
