Picked up the Dusty dvd set at Best Buy at lunch. Looking forward to seeing some of the Championship Wrestling From Florida footage since I only saw him in the Mid-Atlantic/NWA area growing up.

Now I'm not a big Dusty Rhodes fan, is there one "must see moment" on his DVD that might turn me into one?

I thought it is coming out in October? Any reason why it is delayed?

I hope this release has more of his nWo days, rather then 1.5 matches worth.

I'd hope, you know, the Bash at the Beach '96 six-man tag is actually there. That's where the nWo all STARTED, after all. Well, you know what I mean.

So many WM matches

Hopefully we'll get an autographed print of Hogan. I could get 3 or 4 then ebay all but 1.

After all the freaking matches that the Dusty set has (and this Hogan set is going to have), I think they need to look into doing a 2nd volume for Ric Flair. There are nowhere near enough matches on his dvd set. Although, his matches were all pretty long I guess, but still...

I might just ask for somebody to get this Hogan anthology for me at Christmas. I don't think I would buy it myself. There's a few matches I'd like to have, but for the most part I already have them on other releases, or I just don't care about them (Billy & Chuck vs. Hulk Hogan & Edge? BLEH)

I'm patiently waiting for a Pillman dvd match list

Pretty disappointed with the career retrospective portion of the Dusty Rhodes set. With the exception of his 86 world title win vs. Flair, they barely touched on his Mid-Atlantic/NWA/WCW years from 84-89, yet spent quite a bit of time on the year and a half he was in the WWF in 89-90. I realize that being a WWE production they would hype his time there, but they could have spent more time talking about the Florida and NWA years as that was the prime of his career. The Road Warriors set was a good example of giving equal time to all areas they worked in. The match selection was pretty good, but with the entire Florida Championship Wrestling library at their disposal, they should have included at least one match against Kevin Sullivan. That was one of Dusty's most famous (infamous?) feuds of his career.

No one can answer you directly here. I suggest you ask WWE Home Video.

Was that the match where Triple H kept running back and forth against the ropes?

I think that match deserved a place on the dvd. For comedic purposes of course. That was a huge part of the whole dx gimmick. Besides, the after match victory speech by trips was hilarious.

I know, and that's where my .5 came in, since Hogan ran in at the end.

There will be hand signed prints in some sets, but extremely limited (I have heard 500 or 1000)

This way too old... it went out prior to the original planned release of May, 2006 but was scrapped afterwards...
