Wonder if Rock will change his mind? He was on Raw the other night in a taped appearance.

Plus it also makes him look like an ass for not wanting to help the company that allowed him to get famous and get into the movie industry.

This sucks, the closest Blockbuster that sells WWE DVDS is 2 and a half hours away. I wish I could buy these from Blockbuster online.

You can rest assured that the Raw Home Coming DVD will be released to a wider variety, I just spent $42.00 for it on Ebay. Not really a bad price considerig I've seen it go for over $60.00 on there lately.

how come wwe pay per view dvd's have very little extras? have all the ppv's from 2006 and on.. but they all have very little extras in them.. they are kind of pricy and don't offer many extras.. where's the best place to buy them other than online?

because the most that they should really putting on one disc is 3 hours before you start to see a decrease in quality. That includes all the previews, disclaimers, video in the menu art, alternate Spanish audio... They overdo it on some releases (The Rey Mysterio release comes to mind) and some of the bonus matches are heavily pixelated.

But if the released 2 disc sets of all of them like they did with Vengeance 06, or like Blockbuster is doing, I would buy every one the day they come out.

Single disc PPVs are $17.99 at Circuit City. That's the best walk-in price I've seen.

[[[This sucks, the closest Blockbuster that sells WWE DVDS is 2 and a half hours away. I wish I could buy these from Blockbuster online.]]]

Are you sure? Blockbuster wasn't selling WWE stuff at all (for the most part) until the Rumble, and just about everyone got the Rumble. I checked Blockbuster.com and my store has No Way Out coming in also. So maybe a closer one does now. Even if there is a really close one that doesn't have it in stock, you can order it from them and it will be there in a couple days.

A trailer for the new "Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen" DVD is now online and can be viewed at mms://wmsvod.wwe.com/auction/200703/...vailnow300.wmv .

World Wrestling Entertainment is currently in the process of many DVD projects that are set for release in 2008. These titles include a new Shawn Michaels DVD, "The Life and Times of Mr. Perfect", a Batista DVD set, a DVD dedicated to the Hell in a Cell and a SummerSlam Anthology set. A Survivor Series Anthology set is expected to be released sometime in 2009.

In addition to what celluloid is saying, which I totally agree. I think another is why jam the dvd release with all these extra's at the expense of the actual live ppv broadcast. I'm sure wwe wouldn't want fans electing to wait a month and some time to get a ppv dvd w/ a boatload of extras for 20 to 23 dollars less then the live ppv broadcast.

As for where to buy them cheap? Fye, circuit city even best buy usually advertise them for the first week pretty cheap. 16.99 is the lowest I've seen them priced.

A new Shawn Michaels DVD? The current Shawn Michaels DVD is really good, I don't know what other stuff they are going to add in there unless it is DX but we already have the DVDs for it.....

From the Vault HBK was seriously lacking. 7 matches? Crazy.

The Michaels DVD should start with his career in Mid South (if thye have footage) through the AWA (Midnight Rockers) and through the WWF/E days. There is tons of footage they could use.

I can't believe WWE dropped this 3 disc set into a 2 disc one. The "new" DX gets a 3 disc set but the f'n Four Horsemen get two?! It's some lame **** on WWE's part.

Isn't seeing footage of DX vs. the Spirit Squad more important than the history of the 4 Horsemen??? LOL

A NEW HBK DVD?

YES, PLEASE!

"From the Vault" was 7 matches, c'mon. Shawn deserves much, much more than that.

HIAC, yes sir.

All of the SummerSlams, yes sir!

Mr. Perfect? Yes, sir! Although Perfect could get 3 discs.

And it's rumored the Horsemen set will have a bonus 3rd disc at some B&M, but it needing a "bonus" to get up to the amount of discs given to a set basically detailing the last six months of WWE programming in the new DX set is ridiculous.

Some more rumble anthology notes. Just finished watching 89 & 91....

89 - The king vs. king match with harley race vs. haku that was forever cut from the coliseum home video's & silvervision's converts is finally shown, including the pre match segment of jesse ventura sitting on the throne talking about the upcoming match.

91 - Koko b. ware vs. The moutie is there, not cut out like it was on the coliseum home video's. Also, koko's birdman song is left intact, not the usual "piledriver" song that has been over dubbed for all of koko's matches.

Boss man's song is left intact as well. Not the corporation enforcer music that was over dubbed on the mania anthology.

I'd heard that Bossman's song was indeed dubbed. Are you sure?

Just from watching RR97, they dubbed Cactus Jack's music (why?) and 'Marvelous' Marc Mero's.

Not in his match with the barbarian from 1991. Whether it was in another rumble , I'm not sure. But yes, I'm sure it's not dubbed for that particular 1991 match.

As for mero & cactus. Are you talking about 97 or 98. Because 97, mero has his wildman song & cactus, who was mankind in the 97 rumble, had his demented symphony music.

Thats weird because i just watched Royal Rumble 1990 and Bossman had the corporation music, and not the original.

WWE had a tendency to edit out matches or even make them shorter in the Coliseum versions. I remember they butchered the WWF home video release of Wrestlemania 4 they cut out several matches to fit the 3 hours, but the Coliseum version had 2 tapes.

I think i could see WWE re-releasing the Wrestlemania Anthology in the future because of the "double sided disc" that i read caused many problems for certain people because the discs were scratched and use to skip. I could see them release the longer events in 2 discs. The UK version of the Wrestlemania anthology is 31 discs, which means the longer events are spaced over 2 discs like all the Wrestlemania's that are released.

I guess it all depends on who's doing the editing.

Its definitely worth it! one of the best releases this year. I just love watching the older Rumbles, they were so fun to watch, but i have only seen 88,89 and 90, hope to watch atleast 91 and 92 tomorrow and finish off Volume 1 and start Volume 2.
