12 minutes longer - waah! bring it on!

Was this a good film? Or should I say, would this be a good blind buy? I loved all the Doom games. I remember the original SNES version, red cartridge, yeah, those were the days.
It didn't exactly light up the box office grossing about $44 million worldwide (including a 72% drop! its second weekend.). I'll rent it, but it looks like something I'd watch only once.
it was the perfect rainy Saturday afternnon popcorn movie when I saw it. I quite enjoyed it - sure it wasn't deep but it was fun.
I'd really suggest a rental first.
Yeah, good screen fodder for a boring weekend, I'm in.
Yea , it was not "that" bad, worth at least a rental.
I'll give this a rent

It is NOT a good blind buy, IMO. If you have 90 minutes with nothing better to do than jabbing your eyeballs with a ballpoint pen, then it is worth saving your eyesight and renting it. |
I like the Rock, so I will probably get this as an eventual Columbia House blind buy.
The Rock was a fine wrestler and everything but seems to me that all his movies aren't exactly very good or make much money.....oh well I guess he's gotta find a niche somewhere.
its a rental at best. The rock was way better in the rundown.

I didn't think Karl Urban would have gotten cast billing ahead of The Rock. This reminds me of "Bad Boys" and "Bad Boys II". Martin Lawrence is named first, and then it's Will Smith.
Wow, that cover looks pretty bad.
That cover alone may keep me from buying it as a blind buy ;)
Too bad no dts...guess I'll have to get it elsewhere!
ill blind buy it
I like The Rock, but I'll probably just rent it.
I'll probably blind buy this, didn't get to catch it in theaters even though i wanted to.
Cover is way too cheesy - loved & grew up with the games and saw the flick in the theater - but I have to be honest, it is very much a rental :)
Yup. I'll be doing the blind buy on this one.
What's with the choice of color on the cover? Isn't Doom...supposed to be dark?
Also, what gives with this fullscreen only bullshit for the rated version? |
Liked the movie but man that has to be the worst cover i've seen in awhile. I would expect something like that for a made for t.v movie but not something that had a theatrical run.
