C'mon - a naked man strung up by his arms and we don't see his penis once?
Sounds like someone needs to watch Rome.

This is priced at $31.80 at DDD. I'm gonna have to wait until it comes down a bit, or I can find a better deal before I 2X dip on this. But I will eventually succumb.

4 minutes of movie-time, that's it? hmm... sounds like that isn't worth double-dipping for.

Yeah but considering all the new special features it is worth it. I could care less about the 4 extra minutes but the commentaries and everything is what sold me.

Not much of a recut extended version, but I'll probably buy it anyway.

I always understood the point of this release (beyond the extra features) to be that the different stories were separated out, not that there was much in the way of extra footage. All the disappointment now seems a bit odd to me.

Waited long enough for this release (Held off on the 1st one) but I still won't be able to watch it til the 25th. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

I got the first one used for $5, no case. Made a custom cover (I do this whenever I can or get it off 'the Den' so getting the SE will happen. I'll wait for a used one at about $10. If I can get 'Pulp Fiction CE' for $10 (new) then it will happen. I think the studios are getting ready for the Blue-Ray/HD change so are getting rid of their excess. Soon all standard DVDs will be very cheap like when people were getting rid of their laser disc.

50 minutes of tired dialogue, poorly acted toga drama for a nano-second shot of a penis every 3rd or 4th episode?

No thanks.

"Rome" blew chunks.

I got a chance to see the extended cut in the theaters back in August...and there were no end credits capping each segment. It simply rolled from the final scene to a title screen (as shown in the screen captures), then straight into that segment of the film. Perhaps I misunderstood your comments, and you were referring to the additional credits at the film's end (for actors and actresses portrayed in previously cut sequences, editors, graphic designers, and the like). If that's the case, nevermind. However, if you did mean that there are credits following each segment, that's not the case.

There really isn't much added footage...but one scene alone where Marv goes to his mother's house would be worth the price of admission (erm, double dipping). Good stuff. The main attraction, though, is the recut nature of the movie...not the added footage.

You're saying there's 26 minutes of WHAT exactly?

If you're referring to when he's hanging by his neck, he was wearing boxers, wasn't he?

Man, that cop with the glasses in "That Yellow Bastard" screen shot looks just like the dude driving the car in the long chase scene in "Bullitt".

I purchased the first and enjoyed it (3 times already). I'm glad I got it.

I've already ordered this one from Amazon.
