Aeon Flux fans, what's your favorite short?
I've been a fan of Aeon Flux since 1991, and I'm so happy with the dvd! What's your favorite short?
For me, it's "War". I love everything about it. I love the characters, I love the music, I love the fact that the main character keeps changing. Oh, if only this episode could've lasted 2 hours. I could never get bored of this episode! My favorite character in this particular episode was the guy with the sword, protecting his daughter. The thing I love most is that both sides have their own story. There is no good and no evil, just opponents.
The "Pilot" comes in a close second. But I loved them all. What about you?

DVD Talk Hero
War is the one I most readily remember (still haven't gotten the set) so I vote for it. Which was the one where Aeon was jumping over some bars to get these little eggs and this big long legged quidriped guy catches her as she's trying to flee and crushes her offscreen?

Which is the one that has the secret message transported via tounge kiss? I wanted to try that myself.

[Edited to add:]
I should've put a link with descriptions of each episode in the initial post:

I realize that some people don't have the DVD yet and need a little refreshing.

Tide by far. Just the sexual tension, the gunplay, the unknown, betrayal, conclusion. All of it just so much fun.
The bet thing about the shorts is the suspension of timeline and continuation. Aeon could live or die. It didn't mater the next time you saw a new short.

I agree that Tide is a great episode, and there are many things that I do like about it. However, I guess the reason I overlook it is because of the way Aeon Flux died. In all of her other deaths, I felt like there was nothing she could've done to prevent it. In THIS episode, however, I felt differently. Aeon Flux did not have to die like that. I felt the way that she died in that particular episode was pathetic. It made me upset, actually I felt the blonde was dim-witted and could not have possibly done what she did to Aeon. Aeon could've easily taken her down, but no, she walks towards the blonde and somehow gets defeated. Anyway, I loved Tide, but I just thought Aeon was too smart to die the way she did. I think they could've come up with a better way.... a more satisfying way for her to go down. A way where it seemed inevitable.

No love for Leisure or Mirror yet? Interesting. I suppose they are slightly inferior when comparing them to the other episodes. They're all great in their own little way, in my mind.
