I've seen a DVD+R set of FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES... the entire series, $50... surprisingly good picture quality. I would've picked it up, but I ended up buying THE TIME TUNNEL: THE COMPLETE SERIES for $25.

Did you know that's going to be released soon as a Disney Movie Club exclusive?

Anyway, as for my list:
The Tick animated series complete series/season sets
Spider-man 90's animated series complete series/season sets
Spider-man and his Amazing Friends animated series complete series/season sets
Spider-man 80's animated series complete series/season sets
The Weird Al Show complete series

Couldn't really think of any movies that I want that aren't on DVD already.

A lot of my "wishlist" DVD's have been fulfilled in the last 18 months and the Good Morning Vietnam and Dead Poet's Society SE's are coming out in January, my list is getting pretty short. At the moment it is:

Any R1 Release:
- Flower Drum Song
- Erik The Viking
- Yellowbeard
- A Child's Christmas In Wales
- The Night They Saved Christmas

"Proper" R1 Release:
- Parenthood - SE would be nice, WS is sufficient
- Flash Gordon - SE needed
- History Of The World - Part I - SE sorely needed
- The Last Unicorn - WS needed
- Annie (1982) - WS needed

I'd love to get Beastmaster 2 on DVD.

While there's some movies that I wish had better releases, there aren't any movies that I'd want on DVD that aren't already.

- Meet John Doe needs to be plucked from public domain purgatory (a Criterion would be nice), with fully restored picture, sound, and alternate endings (storyboards/script if actual footage is unavailable).

- A proper/legal Fear and Desire release would be nice, along with Kubrick's early short films.

- A special edition of The Bicycle Thief, the greatest film of all time.

- MTV/Sam Kieth's The Maxx, my favorite show (by a hair) of the great 1990's MTV animation boom.

- Nirvana: Unplugged.

cheers,

-the Jesus

Twice Upon A Time - really obscure George Lucas animated movie
A Boy Named Charlie Brown
Snoopy Come Home
She's Gotta Have It

Along with those critical 5, we really need some studios to release better versions of their DVDs that came out at the beginning of the format (Outland, Road Warrior, etc.).
