Eh, don't like the new look, or the new name. Just my preference I guess.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. It still needs a fair bit of work in places, but I think it's an improvement over Answers. Sorry to hear that you aren't so keen on it Milo. If you've got any suggestions on things we can improve etc, feel free to drop me a line!

Just took a quick glance at the new site, and to me, it looks like one of those spam sites.. Too many different basic colors and too many pictures and stuff on the front page..
I hit up dvdanswers at least once a day, and I'll probably check this one for the news updates as well, even if I don't especially like the new design.
Just my two cents.

I also took a quick glance to the new layout and is not bad IMHO.
However, I don't like the fact the R2 UK releases have been grouped together with the other R2, R3 and R4 releases. I would have preferred them to have their own column. The reason is that I usually just browse for articles pertaining to R2 and R3 releases only and now with the UK added, it takes me longer to look for the specific titles or articles.

I definitely don't like the new name or the new look. What on earth has the name got to do with DVD information? DVDActive sounds like an anti-piracy measure.
The front page makes it look like a store/shop too.
Hopefully the quality content will continue to be there.

The name should have been kept the same doesn't make much sense to me. I went to DVD answers to get answers about dvds. DVDactive just doesn't do it for me.
I do like the new site though. Keep up the good work.

I agree with, LorenzoL.
Each region should have their own column. Would have prefered that DVDAnswers had kept the name as it makes more sense.
As for the design, well, that I can adjust to.

As for the name, the comment about it sounding like an anti-piracy software is pretty spot on. As for the layout, I guess it's all the colors. Not sure why they're needed.
I don't know what it matters really, all of the DVD sites have their quirks, I only go to them for news and reviews, not the fancy layouts and such.

I think the new design looks just fine. Good job on the upgrade, fellas.
Just keep those press releases comin' and you'll always have a spot atop my favorites file.
