Devil's Rejects bonus comic book..

I noticed that Best Buy is offering a free on-pack comic book with the purchase of Devil's Rejects. Does anyone know if this is the same comic book that came out last month? If so why the heck do we buy comic books if the companies are going to end up giving them away?

Why would you buy House of 1000 Corpses when it is reported that a special edition director's cut is coming?

Because, as was mentioned in another thread, he doesn't want to do it... he's contractually obligated so he'll probably take his sweet time. Plus it's not like the current release is bare-bones.

Just price match Best Buy's release w/ the comic with Circuit City's ad, $13.99, and get the best of both.

Quick question about the dvd.

What is going on with the cover? On this site and Joblo the review for the movie has the cover being the one that is supposed to sorta look like the last supper. But I went to Wal-Mart last night to pick one up and it is the cover with them walking. And I work in a video store and we have had the movie for about a week and it is the cover of them walking.

Is the last supper cover an exclusive somewhere, or is it not the real cover, just something they toyed around with and the review sites just don't have the correct cover.

What is going on, because I really want the last supper type cover.

I noticed the same thing. I'll bet the "Last Supper" goes to R2.

Is there a slipcover with this release?

And, is there an 'R' rated version or just 'Unrated'?

The 'R' rated version is full screen only. I didn't see any slipcovers at Circuit City and they must have had a hundred copies.

My thoughts on the comic book is that it sucks and it simply a bunch of violent crap put together to push the envelope. I didn't see any slip covers at Best Buy either. I hope that I didn't miss out on one (if there is) because I already missed out on the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory slip cover. Why don't all stores get the same exact product?

Yeah, I settled on getting one today at Best Buy with the comic, and they were price matching Circuit City's price, so I got it for $13.99. I figured after seeing the dvd in 4 differant places and none of them had the cool cover that it must just not exist. Sucks because I thought it makes a much more striking cover than the three Rejects walking.

I think the "last supper" covers was temporary artwork... As far as I've found the only cover out there is the "walking" one, no slip cover either...

R2 Artwork...

Think it's possible the slip cover featured the last supper artwork, and the stores thought it too offensive and chucked 'em out? May want to check out the dumpster to confirm.

I ordered mine online and got no slipcover, so I really doubt it. I really think the Last Supper was just the temporary artwork.

I doubt every store out there had someone decide that the slipcover was too offensive. I'm sure it didn't come with one since nobody has seen it.

I picked mine up at Wal-Mart with the bonus disc.

I saw a 2 pack at Wal Mart that had "Strangeland" packaged in as a bonus. The only way to get the widescreen version was to buy the 2 pack.
