Blade Trilogy Collector's Set

I was just wondering about this set of the 3 Blade Films.

Is Blade: Trinity the Unrated with 10 mins and commentary or the regular rated version?

Thanks!

P.S. Any opinions on this, i.e. recommend purchase, not recommended ( I don't have any of the films.)

Is there a DVDTalk review of the Blade Giftset? My search didn't turn up anything.

You could just look up each of the films individually since they are exactly the same as the previous releases (which are very good releases btw).

I agree. The quality of each of these dvds is excellent. Blade Trinity has a great audio track. It's one of my favorites.

Also, having a keepcase for the original film is nice. I had been holding off on this franchise as I knew this was coming once they announced they were doing a 3rd film.

This has nothing to do with the set that's currently out, but am I remembering correctly that there was going to be an SE set where, among other features, each movie would have a group commentary of all three directors?

I remember thinking that it would be cool to hear what each director thought of the other guy's movie. Then I also remember thinking that poor David Goyer would have to be pretty uncomfortable...haha

Blade- is the same transfer from 98 or 99. it could use updating. movie c+ extras A
Blade II-I'm assuming it is the two disc platinum edition. Beautiful transfer and awesome dts soundtrack. Best movie of the three... A extras A
Blade Trinity-Probably the most dissapointing of the three. Movie looks good and sounds good. movie c extras A
