2 different "Blow" discs don't play right in my DVD player.
A year or so ago, I rented Blow from Blockbuster. I remember it making my Panny S35 DVD player emit this loud, sort of grinding, noise during the majority of the movie. The movie's video and audio played back fine, but the constant "grinding" sound from the DVD player was extremely annoying and sometimes was louder than the movie itself.
Well, I just figured that the disc I rented had some sort of problem and never thought of it again.
Last week I ordered Blow from DDD.com and last night I started watching it. SAME PROBLEM! It's a brand new disc, yet it's "grinding" bigtime!
BTW, these are the only DVDs that have ever done this. Anybody else have this problem with Blow? How can I fix it?

That's why I only buy Pioneer and Denon players. Never had this problem with either brand. Before I did this I had issues with Panasonics and Toshibas and will never buy again. My oldest Pioneer circa 1998 will still play anything I throw at it and never even hickup.

I had a Panasonic once, but the motor in it died on me right after the warranty was up. I have not owned a Panasonic since. I don't think it was the same problem it sounds like you're having with yours, but my advice would be to not buy another Panasonic DVD player once yours dies.

I've never had any problems with any Infinifilms.
Well maybe one. 15 Minutes was just a bad movie.
Back on topic: I have a Pioneer 525. Was the dvd dirty perhaps?
