Final Destination Scared 2 Death 2-Pack: 1/17/06
From DavisDVD.com:
I'm excited that the third one is finally coming out as I loved the first two. I heard that it involves a roller coaster this time. This is so tempting (Best Buy will probably charge like $15 the week it comes out) and WITH a free ticket and that disc with the Tenacious D featurette makes it quite hard to pass up, but aren't they probably going to release a trilogy set??
New Line Home Entertainment delivers twice the terror with the Final Destination: Scared 2 Death Pack that offers and exclusive sneak peek at the new feature film Final Destination 3, hitting theaters on February 10, 2006. The set, due on January 17th, will include the "Final Destination" and "Final Destination 2" DVDs already available, along with a third bonus disc providing a sneak preview of "Final Destination 3" with a behind-the-scenes featurette and cast/filmmaker interviews. Also included on the bonus disc is a sneak peek at the forthcoming theatrical release Tenacious D In: The Pick of Destiny -- featuring the first available behind-the-scenes footage -- as well as a free movie ticket for "Final Destination 3." Retail is $19.99.

sweet. I might get this. I love the films. I would like to get rid of that snapper case for the 1st one and my copy of FD2 was so scratched up I just gave it away.

I was going to buy these soon after I saw the preview for the 3rd, but I think I'll wait and get this for $15. I'm glad they're including a movie ticket as well. Sounds like a sweet deal.

Already own both films, but tempted by this for that bonus disc. May not be much, but I'm a sucker for these things. Been wanting to replace the first film, anyway. Got it in a snapper case featuring the "psychedelic" cover art, but the hub was broken on arrival, and the disc was loose and a little scratched. Just not sure if this is the best time for a replacement. If, as has been speculated, there is going to be a trilogy set when FD3 comes to DVD...ack, this sucks!

Hey guys, I just picked this up from Future Shop today in Canada and stumbled upon something awful.
A) As far as I can tell, the Canadian release doesn't come with a free movie ticket.
B) My copy didn't even come with a bonus disc (though it was explicitly stated on the cardboard dvd holder thing that it DOES come with one. I'm gonna try to return it later on tonight, and hopefully I'll have better luck then (the main reason I picked the set up in the first place was for the ticket and the bonus disc, and I can't even get ONE out of two.) /rant
