With Halloween coming up, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Monster Squad.

Already have. This thread has been good news for Johny Boy. Three of his four most wanted DVD titles have either already been on the market for a while in numerous forms, or have gotten official announcements that have been posted about on the forums.

I listed movies on my wishlist that have not come out yet, regardless if there was an announcement or not. That's why I put Aeon Flux in there. It's coming out the 22nd. I didn't know we were supposed to just list movies that had NO announcement yet. My mistake.

We do have these threads pretty often (one ought to be a sticky) but everyone likes making lists of their favorites, so here goes (again).

Some of these are out in other regions but not R1 (afaik), also a couple have been released in R1 but are now out of print:

The Bed-Sitting Room
A Taste of Honey
A Day in the Death of Joe Egg
Bedazzled (1967)
Rapture (1965)
The Wrong Box
Genevieve (1953)
The Blue Bird (1940)
Soldier in the Rain
Play It as it Lays (1972)
Pretty Poison
The Fool Killer (1965)
Reflections in a Golden Eye (regular and desaturated color version)
Wise Blood
The Witchfinder General
The Devils
The Girl Can't Help It
The T.A.M.I. Show
Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains
Brewster McCloud
The Decline of Western Civilization I-III Box Set
Ikarie XB 1
Baron Prásil aka The Fabulous Baron Munchhausen (1961)
Mickey One (never released on video in any format AFAIK)
Porgy and Bess
Mad Love
The Pied Piper (1972)

A number of public domain films that are available from various distributors but need a proper re-release a la McLintock!:

Beat the Devil
One-Eyed Jacks
Nothing Sacred (1937) (Disney owns the three strip Technicolor negative from their Selznick library and has restored it, using a technique similar to WB's UltraResolution; this version may never see the light of day unless they can re-instate the copyright)
A Star is Born (1937)
Becky Sharp (1935)
Things to Come (1936)

TV:
The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis
The Invaders
The Banana Splits
Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp
Julia
Arnie
He & She
The Westerner
Thriller
Johnny Staccato

I'll second Twin Peaks S2 and Battle Royale. I also wish Lost Highway would come out.
