If I can get one with Widescreen, then yes. The OT was light on extras so this might help make up for it.

Wow...I respect you Michael, but gotta disagree with ya on that.
It was no LOTR EE discs, but for older films, I thought the extras were great. "The Empire of Dreams" documentary was wonderful!
Im sure there is more stuff out there that they could have added (Christmas special anyone?
), but I wouldn't call them 'light'.

But that is basically all it was was the Documentary and 50 trailers. The documentary was top notch but who wants to sit through an hour of previews?

This poll needs a third option: undecided.
Want to read some reviews first. I'm sure someone can post something before release day. I don't particularly care for the idea of buying Revenge of the Sith at Wal-Mart. Want to give Best Buy my business. If it consists mostly of clips from each of the six films, with 3PO narrating and R2 beeping, I don't know how entertaining that could really be for an hour. But I'll be torn if it's something actually interesting and insightful.
Then again, as others have noted, this will likely end up on eBay. Yet another possibility.

Has it been confirmed that it will be 5.00 more at Wal-Mart?
I will be getting it at Wal-Mart and if the litho looks nice enough I may just buy it at Best Buy also.

Re: Are you getting "The Story of Star Wars" DVD?
I remember popping in The Story of Star Wars DVD when I first got it and was almost instantly bored. It's collected dust since, but I decided to revisit it as I've nearly finished logging a viewing of every DVD and Blu-ray Disc in my library.
Oh. My. GAWD. This is the epitome of boring.
The premise itself - a half-hour clip show for each trilogy - is boring. The presentation is boring. Anthony Daniels narrates in character as C-3PO and he does what he can with it, but that isn't much. "The Story of Anakin Skywalker" is even more boring, because it's comprised of material from only The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, meaning roughly fifteen minutes each. Too much material is covered that doesn't even have anything to do with Anakin; it's just content from those two movies.
Most of the footage is presented without its original scored music, too.
The thing is, this actually could have been interesting if it had been an examination of the character arcs of Anakin and Luke, and how each was shaped by his respective experiences, their parallels, themes, etc. That's what was done for Star Wars: A Musical Journey, the music video compilation DVD included with the Revenge of the Sith soundtrack CD. Instead, it's about as insightful as listening to an exuberant child who, instead of organizing their thoughts, merely runs you through as many plot points as they can remember from start to finish. Both segments end with a coy tease about how there's more to be told that R2-D2 won't let 3PO go into, alluding of course to the then-forthcoming Revenge of the Sith movie.
Did I even mention the thing is in pan & scan? Well, it is. UGH.
The one curiosity is that "The Story of Luke Skywalker" includes both the Clive Revill Emperor from The Empire Strikes Back and Sebastian Shaw as the spirit of Anakin Skywalker at the end of Return of the Jedi, despite a 2004 production date which would have made it a contemporary of the Star Wars Trilogy DVD box set, in which those two were replaced by Ian McDiarmid and Hayden Christensen, respectively.
At least I now have it formally marked as viewed in its entirety in my DVD Profiler and I never have to watch it again.
