Question about Big Lebowski gift box?

I bought the regular release last week as I didn't want to spend 50 bucks on a box and some pictures. But today my girlfriend bought me the box set, and I'd like to keep it. I was wondering if anyone bought this and could tell me if the disc inside the box is still wrapped in the plastic packaging. I'm hoping so, so I can return the disc inside the box.

I just wanted to say your girlfriend is pretty sweet, even if the set isnt worth that much. Still, consider yourself lucky!

Mine "was" shrinkwrapped inside the gift set. I guess it all depends. I know it was, because I remember opening it and taking the sticky thing off on top. It also said "made in mexico" in blue writing on back.

I must say that this is a pretty sweet gift to get from anyone. Enjoy!

Just opened mine today (it was delivered to my work last week, but I've been on vacation) and the actual DVD was factory-sealed with one of those damnable security stickers, to boot.

What good is that? Those of us that have opened our boxed sets have already removed the DVDs from the cellophane...
