Blockbuster/Universal Hassle?

Tuesday (10/18) I went to Blockbuster to rent a copy of the newly released "Land of the Dead". There were no copies on the shelf, so I asked one of the people behind the cash register about it and was told that Blockbuster was having some hassle with Universal delivering new titles. He further said that he didn't know if or when this title might be in the store. Is this a local problem with this particular Blockbuster or wider spread?

Seems to be more of a widespread problem. There's a blockbuster thread in the Stores forum that has some more posts on this issue.
